Oil palm plantation is the core business of BOPPL. The main activities engaged by the company are land clearing, setting up of nurseries, upkeep and maintenance of the palms. Besides cultivation of oil palm, soon BOPPL will also be engaging in downstream activities such as palm oil extraction and kernel crushing when harvesting begins. BOPPL will be constructing four palm oil mills over the project area at various stages to ensure that the processing of the Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) is carried out without delay to ensure good quality Crude Palm Oil (CPO) produced.
